This Peruvian vase is a historical piece featuring a cylindrical form with a rounded base. It is adorned with complex, polychromatic designs that wrap around its body in horizontal bands. The top band displays stylized animals, possibly amphibians or reptiles. The middle sections feature anthropomorphic figures with elongated limbs, intricate headdresses, and elaborate patterns, alongside geometric and abstract motifs. The lower band includes more geometric designs and what appear to be simplified hands or feet. The colors are predominantly earthy tones of red, orange, brown, and cream, with black outlines, and the surface exhibits an aged, textured appearance with areas of wear and flaking paint, reflecting its ancient origin.
