This intricate equatorial sundial is crafted from aged brass, featuring a large gear-like ring inscribed with Roman numerals for telling time. Perched atop the ring is a smaller dial with finer markings and an adjustable gnomon, suggesting precise measurement capabilities. The entire assembly rests on a flat base with additional engraved text, supported by what appear to be adjustable legs or feet.
