This head named “Germanicus” has half-long hair and a stern expression. Germanicus Julius Caesar (not to be confused with Gaius Julius Caesar) was the son of politician Drusus the Elder and his wife Antonia the Younger, who in turn was a niece of the famous Emperor Augustus. As a general, he was best known for his campaigns against Germania, which earned him his nickname.
